Logo + Branding Role: Project Lead
A small yet mighty non-profit, the National Ability Center adapts the world of outdoor recreation to folks of all abilities. As we gained national recognition –and grew from 7,000 to 39,000+ annual adaptive experiences in just five years, it was time to embrace our pioneering spirit while maintaining the credibility and professionalism that allows our families to embrace the dignity in risk.

Under my leadership, NAC embarked on a full brand refresh. We worked from the ground up, engaging our stakeholders with a small, efficient "guerrilla" focus groups. We built from what we learned, reinventing our logo to one calling on mountains, ski tracks, running water, and, perhaps the residue left by duct tape ... a key component of staying adaptive in the wilderness.

In 2017, we launched our new brand and purpose, "To build the #AdaptiveNation"
